Another Programmer

With the iPhone and X-Plane 9, we've been very busy...with this in mind, I am pleased to announce the latest engineer to join Laminar Research.

"Nubblet" would like you to know that the MacBook Pro is, in fact, "hers". :-)

And what's Nala make of this new development :P?

I am a little afraid... cats are not very good at programming (in fact, mine is not).

Ah, that's why your code is simply beautiful, graceful like an airplane rising from the tarmac in a golden dawn.

Nubblet seems to always go for the delete key...thank goodness Thunderbird has "undo" or I'd be missing half my in-box right now. She's nuked a fair amount of X-Plane code too. :-)

Nala is not thrilled about having another cat in the house, but CeCe (the dog) thinks the kitten is the greatest thing since sliced bread...her favorite thing to do is to stick her nose at the kitten and try to smell her while the kitten tries to attack. I'll try to grab a video of it one of these days...

Wooohoo!! You have NS10M on your desk.

NS10M: of course! I love the Nasty 10...it's just a great speaker to mix on, and I sort of grew up on 'em learning to mix both music and radio prod in college. I'm glad I got a pair before they stopped making them.

They don't sound good, but if your mix sounds right on an NS10M and you haven't screwed up the low bass, it pretty much is right. :-)

The nasties are hookied up to a ProTools Mix system running off an old PC -- I don't have PCIe cards.

I've been meaning to pick up a nice satelite-sub-woofer system for my own listening...I have a decent pair of book-shelves, but in my office the music I listen to is on this horrible pair of cheap PC speakers that I got from who-knows-where. I realized while down in SC that I need better in-office audio. :-)
